Flight Program

Spokane School District introduced the Flight Program at the beginning of the 2016 -2017 school year. The district will use this year to prepare teachers, students, and parents for next year, when the program will be implemented.

The district will be looking at our neighboring school districts and learning from them what worked, what didn't work, and what we need to do differently in order to be successful. We know that we want our students to be high achievers and part of that process of being successful it using technology in today's world.

Recently we requested input from parents, teachers, and students through a technology survey. Thank you to those of you that took the time to complete the survey. Having parent input will be very helpful as we make decisions about the one-to-one process.

We are excited and anxious to get this program started next year. We know we have a lot of work ahead of us, but with everyone's help and input, we will persevere.

If you have any questions, please email or call Gail Ellis. You can also talk to any of the building principals or Daryl Bernskoetter, the district superintendent.

Thank you.
