Fun Facts About Parents As Teachers

  • Parents as Teachers is an international, non-profit organization that promotes optimal early development, learning and health of young children by supporting and engaging their parents and caregivers.

  • Through professionals in our national network of affiliates and partners, we provide parents and caregivers with research-based information and support from pregnancy through Kindergarten. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Do you have to qualify to be in the program?
     Answer: NO!  Everyone qualifies if you have a child or pregnant until the child enters Kindergarten

Question: How do I get in the program?
     Answer: Call the director or one of the educators and setup a phone call or visit to see if it is something that you would be interested in doing with your child.

Question: Where would we meet and how often?
     Great question! We will come to you. At a minimum we will schedule once a month and possibly twice a month, if you qualify as a “high needs” family.
